ASTRA of Righetti High School

The Righetti ASTRA Club is sponsored by the Altrusa of the Central Coast Club and was formed in 2016 by Dayna DeBernardi-Watson, ASTRA Advisor and member of the Altrusa Club.  ASTRA, an acronym formed from… A = Ability  S = Service   T = Training   R = Responsibility   A = Achievement  is a volunteer organization for Righetti students of all grade levels and backgrounds.  Their focus is giving back to their community and literacy.  They have many projects throughout the year including an Annual Children’s Book Drive, reading at local elementary schools, participating at Ontiveros School’s Kinder County Fair, volunteering at the Patch, Discovery Museum and the Altrusa Club’s Festival of Trees to name of just a few of the things they do.  Of course their favorite project is our monthly Orcutt Library Arts and Crafts!
