Service Projects. What we do…
- Mariposa House – We supply women in need with items such as towels & hygiene products.
- Lompoc Children’s Hospital – We donate tote bags with stuffed animals, books, color crayons and note pad for drawing. A great way to help children in the waiting room.
- Mission of Hope – Pioneer High students (ASTRA) make blankets for cancer patients.
- Fun Activities for Kids – Righetti High students (ASTRA) do many events around holidays with children at the Orcutt Library.
Literacy Projects include…
- Pay It Forward Youth Edition – Our hope is to donate these books to all 5th grade classes in our community to help children spark ideas and become kinder citizens.
- Give Aways – Altrusa of the Central Coast gives many books away at THRIVE, Annual Kite Festival, Kids Day In The Park and more.
